Titanic in 3D 2012

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet gave their best chemistry for this tale of romance and disaster, I couldn't comment more because clearly the chemistry was there, well done.

The famous scene right before they kiss

What's it about:
Well, I am sure most of you have already watched Titanic back in year 1997, this is just a 3D conversion of it, with remastered graphic to reduce the noise so to those who HAVE NOT watch it, it's about the forbidden love of a rich girl and a lower class man, met on a ship and soon fell in love and try to be with each other against all odds.

Unfortunately, luck wasn't on their side.

The ship finally gives in
What I would say about it:
Taking a classic movie, and changing it into a whole new 3D experience. I could only say that I am very much disappointed with the decision to do it. The 3D was lacking that it was almost non existent. A total waste of time if you came to enjoy your favorite movie in 3D.

However, this serves as a good chance to re-market this classic for the younger generation, there were so many around me in the cinema, who has never watch it before. Definitely a good idea to re introduce to people who have missed it in the early years.

Rating: 1/5 (the 3D was the only thing you can look forwad to, but it did not impress me at all)

Rating Ver. 2: 4/5 , it is still titanic after all, the story was great at the time of its conception and will always remain a classic in the movie industry.

Critic Mode:
Remaking it in 3D, the 3D effectsyou cant even see it or feel it, so if you want to watch because it's in 3D or you are looking for a brand new experience from the film, i suggest not."benjaminfoo of

Asahi "Super Dry" and Mr. Asahi

A continuation from the Asahi beer-Super dry acquisition from Carlsberg early this year!

Asahi is ready for a big storm , the name Asahi means Rising Sun, so they are planning to rise as a formidable alcohol beverage in our Malaysia market in the months to come, rising to its competitors they are ready to make a mark here.

With the launch of Mr Asahi, one of the most spophisticated beer serving robot in the world, Asahi Super Dry is ready to be a great competitor.

Here is Mr Asahi now!

Here is Mr Asahi in real life picture.

Mr. Asahi, the world’s first robotic barman, is the brainchild of Japanese brewer Asahi. The advanced bartender is capable of serving people in less than two minutes, saving the average person 13 minutes at the bar. Capable of pulling 300ml pints and opening bottles, Mr. Asahi can serve up to 16 half pints or bottles at a time.

"Asahi Super Dry is a premium beer that ignites possibilities.Instead of just rolling out the range of Asahi Super Dry’s product packaging in a conventional fashion, we imported Mr. Asahi to create a unique drinking experience by offering a one of its kind interaction with beer lovers. By brewing Asahi Super Dry locally, Malaysians can now enjoy the beer at refreshment outlets nationwide as its product freshness is assured. It is also competitively priced in the premium beer segment,” commented Soren Ravn, Managing Director of Carlsberg Malaysia.
Soren Ravn, is the tallest man u see there, the foreigner.

The event was a Trade Appreciation night, gathering owners and business enterprenuers people from all around.

Imma*bleep*youup was rocking the podium all night long, these 3 guys are definitely going somewhere.

The night was pretty much booming with great beats and Asahi beer, certainly a weekday party but the crowd was a little less wild being businessmen and all. LOL.

The ultramodern robotic barman, Mr. Asahi is mobilized to go on a nationwide tour with a crew comprising of dancers, a DJ and a customized truck that unfolds into a mini party-space where ever he is. Consumers can order a beer from Mr. Asahi to try the clean, crisp and refreshing taste with no bitterness of Asahi Super Dry on draught and enjoy the entertainment and games lined-up to ignite all possibilities that one can anticipate from a premium beer

The expedition will take Mr. Asahi and his entourage to key market squares and commercial centers in Kuala Lumpur, Malacca, Johor Bahru, Ipoh and Penang for 30 days beginning April 15, 2012. Beer lovers will be able to catch Mr. Asahi in action from Wednesday to Saturday’s from 5.00pm onwards in selected locations and will be able to follow the Mr. Asahi trail by logging onto

Definitely looking forward to the robotman in his caravan ( HEI! IT EVEN RHYMES!)

Thanks Asahi Malaysia for the invite. =)

The Vow 2012

Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams, just by looks you already struck gold. The two lead are eye candies no matter where you see it, their chemistry has it's up and downs because moments you feel a lot closer then the others, overall they did their best.

Le Handsome Boy

Le Awesome, super hot, pretty Chick
What's it about:
Based on a true story , it revolves around a couple who got involved in a car crash and to find out that the wife has lost all her memory of the husband.

Struggling to help her remember and to make her fall in love with him again, the husband endures the pain of being forgotten and tries the best he can to make her remember again but only to be disappointed again and again, and may ultimately result in a very painful seperation.

Le Sweet Moment before trouble.
What I would say about it:
Easy to say is that I have seen this story line somewhere, or wait! In a lot of places actually, most famous being in Hong Kong dramas, amnesia seems to be a very common plot there.

The story lacks engagement because it breaks from one scene to another, it always disconnects at the wrong time, one moment they are devastated, the next scene it's morning and everything was forgotten. I personally didn't feel a lot of tension between the scenes and the couple.

Sweet as the story maybe, the sense of realism was cut off every time the characters get a little emotional on the edge.

Just to make a point, I DO cry at sappy love stories, but this one is not even sad. It's a different kind of happiness. I would take it as a feel good movie

Rating: 1.5/5

Critic Mode:
I will never say this movie is crap, because I believe many will take it as the lovely sappy story that it is, perhaps I am not a romantic person. Or perhaps I think I can do better for my love than the character here ( not referring to the original people this movie was based on.)"benjaminfoo of

P.S. The movie is inspired by true events, based on these true events the writer turned it into a story that is appealing to the public or in other words hollywoodified.

Here are the pictures of the real couple and their story.

Wrath Of The Titans 2012

Sam Worthington and Liam Neeson lead the cast in this greek themed fantasy story, in my opinion Sam was not suited at all in this film, his wavy hair made him look quite bad. Ralph Fiennes gave a good performance as well, I doubt many would realize he is Lord Voldemort in the Harry Potter movies.

Fee fai for tum, I am a giant and I want to crush you!
What's it about:
A sequel to the Clash of the Titans (New version 2010) , following the defeat of the Kraken by Perseus, Son of Zues. Perseus wishes to live as a normal fisherman with his son despite being a demi-god.

But peace does not come close, the land is once again turn into chaos when the faith of humans to the Gods faded through the years and weakening the power of the God's who uses it to seal away the evil entity of destruction Kronos.

No the giant cloud of dust (Kronos) is not shooting lasers.

What I would say about it:
These Greek Gods really need to stop screwing mortals. According to the movie, there are many other useless Demi-Gods.

The story had a good start with a lot of action and tension, but somewhere in the middle it lost momentum and it suddenly became a family movie of forgiveness and fatherly love.

The only thing to praise about was the admirable monster designs and power effects

There was a scene with shifting Labyrinth, a pretty good idea but it needed more engagement and clearer movements to make you feel like you are in the maze, the random appearance of a minotaur did not help.

Can't say I like the film, but it is still very much watchable.

Rating: 2.5/5

Critic Mode:
" It would definitely take more than this to make a good blockbuster hit out of this, probably raking a lot in the first week from the hype it has cause but it needed more substance to be remembered as a good action fantasy movie of greek influence."benjaminfoo of

Thanks Nuffnang for the tickets, and TGV Sunway Pyramid Hall 7 for the experience.

The nationwide celebrations also spread fun and laughter to major cities around Malaysia including Penang, Johor Bharu, Kota Kinabalu, Kuantan, Ipoh, Melaka, Kuching and Miri with over 20 parties throughout March.

What would St Patrick's day celebration be without some gung ho fireworks right?

The streets were roam with merry laughing people, Jesters and clowns , performers and dancers were everywhere, entertaining the green streets of Changkat that night.

I was really entertained by this folks never a sign of fatigue, running around like cheerful little kids and if that doesnt make you smile , you need more GUINNESS =).

Flo Rida performing at Future Music Festival Asia 2012

I say Rida you say Flo

Those were the energetic chants for the Flo Rida performance at Future Music Festival Asia 2012 yesterday, if you were there you would know what I meant.

Mr International arrived at the stage straight from his 18 hour flight from L.A. and jam sparked a freaking one hour show of pure energy and showmanship, drowning the crowd with his popular songs and excellent crowd teasers.

It was already a known fact that his songs were very catchy and nice to party to, first time catching him live and I was impressed by his showmanship and the energy he brings to the crowd.

Performing all his songs of wonder the crowd jumped at dance even though it was just 5pm and it was freaking hot and sweaty but no one cared =)

Much to the surprise of the crowd, our very own Mizz Nina came out and did a feature with Flo Rida with her " houston~ we got a little problem~ hehe, that was a pleasant surprise.

Just how awesome was Flo Rida at exciting the crowd? Here are the proofs.

Coming out into the crowd and giving out roses and sweaty T shirts plus a very big heart shaped sign, Mr International was one of those performers that you remember for a long long time. =)

Well, this is just one of the performances of Future Music Festival Asia, will op for more updates and posts once I gathered enough pictures from different sources.

It was one hell of a Festival.

Still not sure what is Future Music Festival Asia about? Check it out here.
