Puss In Boots

4 comments :
"We have known this kitty for one too many movies but as a side kick, a helper. This time it is for him to tell his own tale, his own story, a story that made his naaaaaaaame ....a LEGEND"- benjaminfoo.

Cast:
Voice actors are the very soul of film animation where besides nicely made animations, you will need the voice of the characters to bring it to life.

Antonio Bandares did well in voicing Puss , to the extend that even when I am writing this, my head is speaking in his tone in his voice.

The other voice actor did a decent job bringing the characters to life as well.

Story:
Twisting fairytales to make them more relatable have always been the golden crop for these genre of film and if you know most of the fairytales from your childhood then you will have no problem relating it to them.

The main plot of the story was pretty basic and predictable.

Execution:
Animating are up to standard of course.

The soundtrack gave a good espanol feel to the whole show

The funny scenes however were already shown in trailers and teasers so it was quite a put off when you wait for more jokes but nothing comes.

Gibberish:
The fact that it was SOOOO obvious that the bad guy was who made me feel like I am watching a film intended for only kids.

Humpty dumpty was really ugly.

Too much so called "dancing" scenes messed up the story even further. It's like they put it in to drag time.

WAS ACTUALLY LOOKING FORWARD FOR A GUEST APPEARANCE BY SHREK AND DONKEY.

My favorite scene was when the beanstalk siddenly sprouted after being said that you need to be gentle to them,

Wrapping it up:
A light hearted and funny movie for the family this time around, it gave a little sad happy moment at the end but all is well for these type of movies. Should watch it with the kids and give yourself a heartful laughter

Rating: 3/5

Watchable rating: 3.5/5

Critic Mode:

"You always love spin off and puns made fresh from staled nursery rhymes and old fairy tales, it gives room for creativity and surprise, the film could use a little more but it is definitely sufficient as it is".benjaminfoo of benjaminfoo.com
