Awareness of the public, against the censorship of the media.

1 comment :
It's been a long long time since i wrote a political post, could be 2 years.

A following from the posts, the videos, the pictures and the notes that has been circulating around facebook, twitter, blogs and any other internet media.

A day passed since the historical 709 incident, there were people rallying for a fairer cleaner electoral standard, for a real democracy.

The unity of Malaysian's were seen on that very day, the 1Malaysia whom our dear Prime Minister and his cabinet have been mentioning finally surfaced ironically through a rally that used the forces of the anti riot controls and police force to stop it from happening.

In this rally, there were group dynamics that you would never have seen anywhere else,

The leaders who started the whole rally a few months back they have planned this historical moment,

The warriors whom courageously march their way to the intended rally points through strict blocks and checkups,

The watchers whom endured fatigue to collect the images and videos, the writers whom took great effort to put in words a day for people to remember,

The messengers who shared the live images of the conditions in the city, the editors who took time compiling the information on the web and compiled them to videos and albums as a record for the events that took place,

The sharers who sat in front of their computers monitoring every progress giving out navigation and live posts on facebook and twitter to give the warriors and the leaders the support and encouragement that the world is watching

The silent supporters who struggled with their inner fear of getting in trouble but secretly pray for the safety and the success of the rally.

But there are things that we should be weary of that, are the decrease of the Bersih spirit among those that are the back stage supporters.

Social Media is a great weapon during these times, but one has to maintain it, one has to learn that the social media is only the tool for spreading the news, one has to be a warrior at times. The actions that should be taken, registering for voter status and the continuation of spreading the love for our country and the spirit of Bersih is NOT to overthrow any government but more to let them know that we should not be taken granted.

The traditional media just as many predicted have been censored and false news is created. It is up to us, the generation who is tech savvy that are able to share this information.

The government denied force being used then how would they explain against the videos shown on facebook and youtube, the pictures that are posted on picasa and many other online albums. Download these evidence, and show it to your family, show it to your friends.... we are not trying to over throw or create chaos.

WE ARE TRYING TO CRACK INTO THAT THICK SKULL OF THE GOVERNMENT TO UNDERSTAND THAT WE ARE NOT GOING IN A GOOD DIRECTION WITH THEIR IDEALS, PLANNING AND THE STANDARD OF THEIR SO CALL IMPROVEMENT TO THE COUNTRY TO ENSURE A BETTER FUTURE.

SO I URGE YOU, THE SUPPORTERS OF THE INTERNET REALM TO STEP UP A NOTCH AND TALK WITH YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS, SHARE WITH THEM THE STORIES OF HOW UNITED THE MALAYSIANS TOWARDS A CAUSE THAT WOULD HELP US CREATE A BETTER FUTURE.

It begins with the willingness to share what i would call know, "the true spirit of Malaysians"

We are working for a better future, not to overthrow a government.

Anyone who wins the election through a truly transparent and just system, must work hard in keeping the promises that you have said in the campaign. No more should these parties take their promised words and hide them under irrelevant issues.

NO MORE SHOULD THE CIVILIZED PEOPLE THAT WE ARE, BE TAKEN FOR GRANTED.

GIVE US A BETTER PATH TO A BETTER FUTURE FOR MALAYSIA.

and probably the most agonizing thing i m feeling now is the regret of not being there as some of friend have done, and i ask myself what did i do? though my tears flow when i see the pictures of unity , i noe i wasnt there. i noe i have failed myself. there is no way to redeem that lost chance , but there is always a choice u can make to move forward.

VOTE NOW, VOTE FOR WHO YOU THINK CAN GUIDE US BETTER AND STOP AVOIDING.
